I really like our Brooklyn dwelling (that’s the visitor room, above), and now that we’ve been dwelling right here for nearly eight years, I’m very conversant in all of the nooks and crannies. This subsequent sentence feels extraordinarily forty-something however: over the autumn, I’m excited to arrange our closets, filter the storage space, and add just a few decor surprises and delights. 1. Dangle artwork in surprising locations. How cool is that framed drawing beneath the window? I really like seeing art work positioned excessive up, low down, round corners…

2. Paint our staircase. Proper now, our stairs and the hallway are white, which is okay however meh. Even when we didn’t go all out, just like the townhouse above, possibly we might paint the banister pale pink or darkish blue.

3. Show ebook covers. I forgot how good it seems to be when just a few books face out from a bookcase, and I’d particularly like to do it with this John Currin cowl.
